From Virtual to Reality
Hayley and her dogs joined Adventure Hounds for "The Tena" virtual program in the fall of 2023.
Their family moved cross country recently and had been without their place beds due to the chaos of the move. Once they got the place beds unpacked and setup, Hayley had a really heartwarming story to share about how powerful place training is for them!
In Hayley's Words:
“I just got the place beds set back up yesterday, and I swear they’re so much calmer in the evenings with them available! For a little while I was using other beds and naming them place for the time being, but it really isn’t a great substitute if you haven’t been “translating” place in already!
In this pic Oliver and Lemon are actually swapping beds, but Lemon and Tuna had been there already before I asked Oliver for a place while I clean up.
I see it as a clear indication of the power of place beds! They gravitate toward them for calm and serenity.
Moving with three dogs has been the most chaotic time of my LIFE! But I feel a lot better with the place beds back! Their place beds are somehow more calming for them than their crates."
